The Role:

As an Installation Engineer, you’ll be the face of Autologics—playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations and consistently excellent customer service. You’ll be working both independently and as part of a close-knit team, visiting customers across your region and upholding the company’s high standards of safety, professionalism, and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

            •           Install 12V vehicle equipment in a safe and reliable manner.

            •           Work confidently with systems such as parking sensors, trackers, reverse cameras, heated seats, and vehicle security solutions.

            •           Use laptops/iPads to document installations and complete reporting accurately.

            •           Identify and report any installation issues or customer concerns to your manager.

            •           Support and mentor apprentices (desirable).

            •           Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times.

            •           Act as an ambassador of Autologics, promoting our values and maintaining high standards on the road and with customers.

 

What We’re Looking For:

            •           Practical experience in auto electrical installations or transferable skills from a similar background.

            •           Knowledge of current industry standards and best practices.

            •           Excellent organisational skills – you’ll be responsible for maintaining your own tools, stock, and company vehicle.

            •           Good communication and customer service skills in a field-based role.

            •           Comfortable using mobile technology (tablet/laptop) to record data.

            •           Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

            •           DBS check or NPPV clearance (desirable).

 

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential):

            •           Auto Electrical / 12vLight Vehicle Qualification

            •           Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Qualification

            •           Understanding of industry regulations and compliance

Salary Based On Experience:

£25,000 – £45,000 per annum
